In the recent Upload VR Showcase event, Reedus confirmed that he has finished recording his lines for the game, and that a proper gameplay reveal will be dropping at some point later this summer. The Walking Dead: Onslaught is set in the same world as the AMC show, and it will feature Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon, Melissa McBride as Carol, and Josh McDermitt as Eugene. The next Walking Dead VR game is expected to launch later this year in the form of The Walking Dead: Onslaught, and it's since been confirmed that the game will feature performances by cast members from the AMC TV series. The Walking Dead franchise is finding a great deal of success in the virtual reality space, with The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners greatly exceeding expectations.
